Watching the innaugural pregame, I've twice heard in the last thirty minutes a talking head admiringly note the “enormity” of this morning's state-empowerment propaganda event. Quite right!
enormity (ĭ-nôr'mĭ-tē)
1. The quality of passing all moral bounds; excessive wickedness or outrageousness.
2. A monstrous offense or evil; an outrage.
