Tea Party vs. OWS: The psychology and ideology of responsibility

I put a lot into this one.

Scanlon on libertarianism and the value of liberty

A reply to Scanlon’s reply to my reply to his Boston Review piece.

I still intend to reply to Mazie, but I just haven’t gotten around to it.

  1. It’d be cool if you did a diavlog on the Tea Party vs. Occupy Wall Street article. You haven’t been on BHTV in a year. I think Joseph Heath would be a good partner for that one. I enjoyed your last diavlog with him, and he has written about Adbusters and personal responsibility.

  2. Very nice article, especially because I agree with the overwhelming majority of it. One style remark though. It seems that every other post you feel the need to update us about your current position on the polical spectrum (currently located in the interstice between classical liberal and libertarian-leaning liberal). While this of interest for long-time followers who know of your vicissitudes, it may be perplexing for new readers.

  3. I think your former bosses at Cato owe the American people an explanation as to why they have kept you on the payroll for so long.
I don’t think Koch brothers would be amused.
